Popular idol group INFINITE is scheduled to release their 2nd Japanese single ‘Be Mine‘ on April 18.
Back in November, INFINITE released their 1st Japanese debut single ‘BTD‘. For the upcoming release, they will be releasing a Japanese version of their hit song “Be Mine” along with their ballad song “Julia“.
Meanwhile, INFINITE held their Japanese concert (‘Second Invasion Japan Tokyo‘) at the Tokyo International Forum Hall on the 25th and 26th, and their debut single “BTD” has ranked #7 on the Oricon Chart previously.

On January 18th, the Conference Committee of the Korean Public Music Awards announced the award nominees.
Four out of five nominees that were selected under the ‘Best Dance & Electronic Song’ category were idols, and the songs selected were none other than 2NE1‘s “I Am The Best“, f(x)‘s “Pinocchio“, INFINITE‘s “Be Mine“, and T-ara‘s “Roly Poly“.
This was the second time that 2NE1 and f(x) were selected under this category after also being selected last year.
In regards to more idols being selected under this category, a representative from the Korean Public Music Awards remarked, “They live up to their titles as idols at the forefront of the Hallyu wave, producing dance music that is energetic and have a sense of completion.”
GD&TOP were also listed under the ‘Best Rap & Hip Hop’ category, while f(x) was nominated for the ‘Best Dance & Hip Hop’ category, which garnered the attention of the public. IU‘s “Good Day” was impressively listed under three different categories including ‘Best Pop Song’, ‘Best Album’, and ‘Song of the Year’.
The 9th annual Korean Public Music Awards will be held at AX-KOREA on February 29th.
