{NEWS} 110901 – Infinite Wins 1st Place, Even Tony Ahn Feels Warm at Their Explosive Tears for Their 1st Win Since Debuting, “I think of the old days”

Infinite finally took first place on a music program and rose up to the position of the best male idols. 

During the live broadcast of Mnet’s M! Countdown on September 1st, Infinite won first place with their new song, ‘Be Mine’, which was released on July 21st.

Infinite, who debuted last June, was acknowledged as skilled idols through many of their hit songs like ‘She’s Back’, ‘BTD’, and ‘Nothing’s Over’. Through constant efforts, they gradually grew and finally enjoyed the happiness of reaching the top for the first time since their debut.

Infinite was definitely confirmed to be real trend-dols because they beat out Leessang and Sistar, and won first place.

Infinite was touched and said, “We thank everyone” for the unpredicted 1st place, and all the members cried.

After seeing the touching moment of everyone crying, M! Countdown’s MC Tony Ahn said, “I think of my debut times” and congratulated Infinite.

Infinite received explosive popularity after the release of their first official album’s title song, ‘Be Mine’, as the performances became more amazing. They became 1st on various music sites and the album sales chart, Hanteo, garnering interest for being the best rising star for the second half of the year.

Meanwhile, Infinite is currently gaining popularity in not only Korea, but in all of Asia with their 1st official album, ‘Over The Top’, rising them up as the next generation of Hallyu stars. They plan to actively promote in Japan for the rest of the year.
