{NEWS} 120310 Top idols to perform and walk the runway for ‘K-Collection in Seoul’

Top stars like Girls’ Generation, Big Bang, IU, MBLAQ, INFINITE, T-ara, miss A, SECRET, Nine Muses, and many more will be walking the runway as well as performing for the ‘K-Collection In Seoul‘!

Scheduled to be held on March 11th at the Olympic Park Gymnasium, ‘K-Collection In Seoul’ has prepared an amazing line up of idol group performers for their show. In addition, 15 idol members will be walking the runway and showcasing various fashion styles for the launch of Korea’s first ever ‘fashion concert’. Other attendees include Yeo Jin Gu, former supermodels Choi Yeo Jin and Gong Hyun Joo, Hwang In Young, Yoo Min, Seulong, and more.

Fans are already busy guessing on who will be walking the runway with comments like, “I hope Big Bang gets on the runway,” “I want to see Hyomin’s power walk,” and “Will K-Pop’s Hallyu influence the Korean fashion market as well?”

Representatives of ‘K-Collection’ stated, “Not only will some of Korea’s best K-Pop stars present a fantastic performance, they will also be walking the runway to create a fashion show never seen before in Korea.”

The event will be in collaboration with 20 fashion beauty brands and designers, in an effort to shed light on and help market local Korean brands that are being overshadowed by international brands.

{NEWS} 120309 Two Months’ Kim Yerim & INFINITE’s L release MV for duet single, “Love U Like U”

Kim Yerim & L who are currently starring in ‘Shut Up Flower Boy Band‘ will be releasing their first duet single.

The official audio single, “Love U Like U” from tvN‘s drama series ‘Shut Up Flower Boy Band’ will be released on March 12th. INFINITE‘s L and Two Months‘ Kim Yerim are establishing their own love line in the series, and on a recent episode, Yerim asked L (Lee Hyunsoo) to record a duet song together. Since then, viewers have been curious to know if their duet song would be released as a single.

The other OSTs recorded by their fellow actors Lee Minki, Sung Joon, Kim Min Suk, and more have been released on a weekly basis, and fans have been sending in overwhelming requests for L & Yerim’s song to be released as well.

“Love U Like U” is a track with a restored acoustic sound, and it sings of a man who cannot hide his emotions for a woman who only sees him as a friend. Kim Yerim who has until now only collaborated with her fellow Two Months’ member Do Dae Yoon has created a beautiful harmony with INFINITE’s L.

Things are still a little awkward when it’s just the two of us, but we became a little more comfortable after we started singing together,” the two remarked.

INFINITE‘s “visual”, L, has left his female fans’ hearts palpitating with the recent photos that have surfaced.

Recently revealed through an online community, the photos showcase L’s innocent and sweet side with his school uniform, giving us an insight into what he may have looked like back in his school days.

L’s sweet expression towards the unknown girl during their date has captured many netizens’ hearts.

These photos are from the set of an online story video as an endorsement for Samsung’s Galaxy Player, for which the boys of INFINITE are endorsement models for.

Netizens complimented L not only on his dashing good looks, but also his success in tvN‘s ‘Shut Up Flower Boy Band‘, as they responded with, “I want to receive L’s sweet glances too”, “Eye Candy is the best! They’re luxurious to look at”, “L looks better in the uniform than me, a high school student.”

{NEWS} 120229 INFINITE’s ‘Second Invasion – Evolution’ encore concert sells out

It seems there is no stopping INFINITE‘s popularity, for they have sold out another concert within minutes!

With the successful completion of the ‘Second Invasion’ concert that was held on February 11th and 12th, an encore concert was added for April 1st to give more fans a chance to witness the concert. With the tickets for the encore concert opening up for sale on February 28th, the servers became overloaded and caused much lag, as 150,000 people logged in to fight for their chance at a ticket.

The 10,000 seats available were wiped out right away, making this the fourth consecutive time that the boys have sold out their concerts, starting with their Japanese concert back in September.

A concert organizer stated, “The size of the gymnastic stadium is not one you can sell out easily. Additionally, it’s even harder with an encore concert. INFINITE, who possesses strong vocals as well as powerful choreography, is evolving as the divinity within the performance world.”

The encore concert, titled ‘Second Invasion – Evolution’, aims to perfect some of the parts such as the sound, lights, and special effects from the original concert to deliver an even more spectacular show.

{NEWS} 120228 INFINITE moved to tears by the 10,000 Japanese fans at their second independent concert

Idol group INFINITE wrapped up another successful performance in Japan.

According to their agency, INFINITE held their second independent concert ‘SECOND INVASION JAPAN TOKYO‘ at the Tokyo International Forum on February 25th and 26th.

The concert went on for 2 and a half hours, and the boys kicked off the show with their debut song “Comeback Again“, and continued with “Hysterie“, “Paradise“, and more.

The boys were so touched by the 10,000 fans who came out to cheer them on, all 7 members thanked them with tears of joy in their eyes.

A local representative from the performance remarked, “Not only was their performance amazing, the boys once again proved that they were musically talented.”

In related news, INFINITE will be holding an encore concert at Seoul’s Gymnastic Stadium at Olympic Hall on April 1st.

{NEWS} 120226 INFINITE to release their 2nd Japanese single ‘Be Mine’ on April 18

Popular idol group INFINITE is scheduled to release their 2nd Japanese single ‘Be Mine‘ on April 18.

Back in November, INFINITE released their 1st Japanese debut single ‘BTD‘. For the upcoming release, they will be releasing a Japanese version of their hit song “Be Mine” along with their ballad song “Julia“.

Meanwhile, INFINITE held their Japanese concert (‘Second Invasion Japan Tokyo‘) at the Tokyo International Forum Hall on the 25th and 26th, and their debut single “BTD” has ranked #7 on the Oricon Chart previously.

{NEWS} 120222 A-Pink’s Bomi admits she once farted in front of Infinite’s Woohyun

A-Pink‘s Bomi shared that she once passed gas in front of INFINITE‘s Woohyun!

On a recent episode of SBSStrong Heart‘, Bomi revealed, “When I get nervous, I begin passing gas without even realizing it,” causing everyone on the set to chuckle.

Not too long ago, I had passed gas in front of Woohyun,” she continued. “I was so embarrassed that I just pretended to be asleep. I’m curious to know whether or not he actually heard me,” she said, causing everyone to fall back in their seats from laughing.

No official response from Woohyun yet.

{NEWS} 120222 INFINITE, IU & Verbal Jint are netizens’ choice for ’2012 KMA’!

Although the ‘2012 KMA (Korean Music Awards) will be happening one week from today, the results for the Netizens’ Choice awards were released ahead of time.

The awards ceremony will be held on February 29th, recognizing various artists in a variety of categories, a few of which will be determined by netizens’ votes.

Netizens were able to vote for their favorite female and male artist, as well as their favorite group from January 18th through February 17th.

Verbal Jintclinched the #1 spot as the netizens’ choice of male artist with 1,193 votes out of the 5,228 votes cast. Meanwhile, IU was chosen as the top female artist with 2,986 votes out of the 4,527!

As for the netizens’ favorite group, a fierce battle royale between many of the industry’s top stars fought for the title, but in the end, ‘trend idols’ INFINITE came out on top with 9,311 votes out of the 24,424 cast!
